Sorry for my long absence. I was in Vegas the past 5 days
 It was fun...but very very hot [it made me appreciate the weather in Vancouver more]. This was inspired by the Cirque du Soleil show "O" I was finally able to watch it while in Vegas [I had to wait in the stand-by line for 2 hours so we could get good seats] though it wasn't as good as I thought it would be  But there were those parts in the show where they had two clowns come out as a sort of intermission. There was one part where a clown was sitting on a small bed on a boat, holding a broken umbrella to try and shield itself from the rain. So that's where the idea came in. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization. Open to all mediums.
